LENA WILLIAMS Obituary

LENA WILLIAMS 05/18/1937 - 03/24/2025 Lena Merle Williams, born May 18, 1937, in Sweeny, Texas, to parents Charlie and Lillie (Belle) Finley, passed away March 24, 2025, in Kaufman, Texas at age 87. Lena was a 1954 graduate of Sweeny High School, a member of the Erath County Demonstration Club, played piano for Clairette Baptist Church. Lena owned medical equipment companies in Hico and Hamilton, Texas, and was a part owner of Hamilton Nursing Home. Preceding Lena in death were here parents, husband Henry N. Williams, Jr., son-in-law Jim Kerr, and grandchildren Cody and Rickey Mitchell. Surviving Lena are daughters, Connie Williams Studer and husband Johnny, Donna Williams Kerr, Edith Williams Frankum and husband Steven, grandchildren Michael Cooper, Nicki Campbell and husband Justin, Shanon Davis and wife Michall, Leslie Davis, James Kyler Kerr and wife Sarah, Megan Williams, Lauren Williams, Morgan Williams. Lena is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Clairette Cemetery, Clairette, Texas.
