Lenee K. Thumm

Leneé K. Thumm, age 41, of Streator, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 with her loving family at her side, following a courageous five year battle with cancer.

Leneé was born May 19, 1984 in Ottawa. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Celeste and Lyle Heusner; and her children Tegan Alese (Andrew) Daza, Makaela Jade (Seneca) Shepherd, Malia Kiara Solis, Zaelyn Celeste Solis and Kinzley Anne; grandchildren Santiago Enoch Daza, Seneca Xavier Oliphant, Ezra Mae Solis and baby Daza to arrive soon. She also leaves her siblings Rhiana Leal who she also considered her best friend, baby brother Blase Heusner, sister Jade Keeney and brother Jared Thumm; God daughter and niece Reese Aurora Leal, special niece Paisley Anastasia Leal, nephew Bentley Thumm, special aunt Cindy Thumm and special friend Ed Welch. Leneé was preceded in death by her grandmother Anne Barton and a niece, Esmeé Leal.

Leneé attended St. Columba Grade School and Marquette High School. She was known to have a great sense of humor and loved animals, her music and being outdoors. Her daughters and grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She will truly be missed.

Private family services will be held. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
