Mrs. Lenora Jean Connell, 66, of Hartsville, passed away on Friday afternoon, June 7th, 2024, while at home with her family.
Mrs. Connell was a native of Texas, a daughter of the late Dewey Wayne Williams & Sara Louise Yarborough Williams. Jean was a true people-person who dearly loved her family. She retired after working in the management divisions of retail companies.
Surviving is her husband, Robert Connell; siblings, Walter Euguene (Trudy) Williams and Sarah (Cary) Friedman; stepmother, Frances Williams; sister-in-law, Dawana Gainey; grandchildren: Katherine Byrd, Patrick Bunce, and John Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Wayne Williams and James Howard Gainey.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2024, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverend Chuck Chisholm and Reverend Teddy Moore will officiate with burial following in the Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
