Lenora Strus Obituary
Jeanie attended school in Durant and Madill, graduating from Madill High School. She completed her education with a Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. She married the love of her life, Michael Strus on December 20, 1975. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
She enjoyed traveling and particularly going on cruises. Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Michael; children: Jennifer and husband Chris Williams and Danny and wife Carly Strus, all of Ardmore; and grandchildren: Ari Williams and Heidi Strus. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.

she was my teacher at Lee elementary. when I was a small kid I originally thought she was super strict but she ended up being really really sweet and she genuinely cared about the students she taught. she ended up being one of my favorites.
