Funeral service for Ruth "Lenore" Nill, age 91, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating.

Mrs. Nill passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at The Chateau Assisted Living, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

She was born October 7, 1933, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to H.P. and Ruth (McClelland) Bryan. She attended Frederick Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1950. On May 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to N.C. Nill at her parents' home in Frederick. After their wedding, they lived in Frederick until 1960 and then moved to the Loveland Community where they farmed and ranched. Lenore attended Cameron State College in Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in May of 1970. She then taught Art and English in the Frederick Public system for nearly 40 years. In 2007, she and N.C. returned to Frederick. Lenore was a member of the Loveland Methodist Church. Lenore loved to dance. She was a member of the Wagon Wheeler Square Dance Club in Frederick and she and N.C. traveled to dances all over Oklahoma, and to Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. They loved to travel and once made a trip literally across the country. They drove from Oklahoma to Alaska, and then drove from Alaska to Florida, staying in their van all along the way. The trip took over a month and they loved telling stories about it.

She is survived by one daughter: Sue Bolton and her husband Craig of Grandfield; one son: Mark Nill of Grandfield; one daughter-in-law: Donna Nill of Grandfield; five grandchildren: Krystal Bolton, Kyle Bolton, Melinda Eairheart and her husband Jasen, Carly Mindemann and her husband Wyatt, Holly Dorrell and her husband Mitch; six great-grandchildren: Arwyn Eairheart, Ryland Eairheart, Londyn Mindemann, Kasyn Mindermann, Devyn Dorrell, and Dylan Dorrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents: H.P. and Ruth Bryan: her husband: N.C. Nill; and her son: Mike Nill.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Chateau and Hospice for the loving care they provided Lenore.
