Leo Francis Butch Bennett II

Leo Francis Bennett, II, "Butch", a resident of Zachary, died on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his home. He was 69 years old and was retired from Turner Industries with 32 years of service. Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc in Zachary from 5pm until 8pm. Memorial service will be at 7pm. He is survived by his son, Bradley James Bennett and a daughter, Leann Cutrer Bennett. 2 sisters, Franny Mullins and Joann Houston and husband, Willie and his fur babies, Lucy and Max. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dara Cutrer Bennett and his parents, Leo Francis Bennett and Honora "MiMi" Kaack Bennett. Butch was a 1971 graduate of Woodlawn High School and attended LSU. He was a rodeo cowboy and bull rider. He loved baseball and football, Alabama Crimson Tide was first LSU was second. Butch was an avid deer hunter. He was a friend to all and loved animals.
