Leo Jabotte Obituary
Born in Acushnet, son of the late George and Eva (Girard) Jabotte, he lived in New Bedford until marrying his high school sweetheart Jean E. (Gilson) Jabotte with whom he celebrated their 50th anniversary in August.
He served in the Marine Corps Reserves for 10 years. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, then as a CNA at Sacred Heart Nursing Home before working at and retiring from Titleist.
He enjoyed family gatherings, vacationing in Maine and time spent with his loyal dog Moxie.
He was the father of the late, Danielle L. Jabotte. He leaves behind his wife, their daughter Karen L. Jabotte-Medeiros and her husband Michael; granddaughter Olivia J. Medeiros; grandson Chace D. Jabotte, Lauren A. Bettencourt and their daughter Liliana J. Jabotte all of Fairhaven; twin sisters Janet Parker and Doris Riggin of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10am in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm.

I'm going to miss your laugh and endless supply of sarcasm and my football buddy. How I enjoyed our phone calls rooting for the Pats. I know you're in a better place but it doesn't lessen the pain and sadness I feel since you left. This has always been the hardest part of being a "grown-up" and I won't say goodbye...rather, a big hug and a kiss on your cheek, a smile and a wave...until the next time I see you.
