Leo Kiefer Obituary

Leo E. Kiefer Jr., 65, of Chicora, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in his home early Saturday morning, Sept. 20, 2025.
Leo was born in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, on April 3, 1960. He was the son of the late Leo E. Sr. and Anna Marie Kemple Kiefer.
He was a 1978 graduate of Karns City Area High School and attended Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh where he was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Most recently, Leo had been employed as an accountant for Learning Tree.
He enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards and golfing. He was an avid sports enthusiast and a fan of the Karns City Gremlins, Pitt Panthers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Steelers, Penguins and, yes, even the "woeful Pirates."
Leo is survived by his sister, Leanora A. "Lee" Kiefer-West, of Chicora; as well as a number of cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Brian and Joseph Kiefer; and his sister-in-law, Sharon J. Kiefer-West.
KIEFER - Friends of Leo E. Kiefer Jr., who died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at HILE FUNERAL HOME of Chicora, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Chicora.
