Leola Becknell Baker was born in Clay Co., Kentucky on March 15, 1932, and departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2025, being 92 years old. She is the daughter of the late Fred and Ida (Madden) Middleton.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Becknell and her daughters Linda Williams, Brenda Czichon and JoAnn Frye. Her grandchildren, Kyle Davidson, Danny Robinson, Jack Robinson, Phillp Cole Becknell, Melissa Sparks, Nick Kreimer, Jennifer Vollman, Kim Ealy, James Becknell, Jamie McQueen and Stephanie Godsey. As well as a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As well as two sisters, Loraine Jackson, Elsie Davidson and one brother Cecil Middleton.
In addition to her parents Leola was preceded in death by two spouses, Quienten Becknell and Fred Baker. Her children, Philip Becknell, William (Bill) Becknell and Carolyn Kreimer. One granddaughter Melanie Feltner and two brothers Delbert Middleton and L.F. Middleton.
Funeral Services for Ms. Leola will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2025, with Bro. Shawn Allen presiding. Burial will follow in the Holcomb Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11:30 A.M. at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers include Philip Cole Becknell, James Becknell, Dave Godsey, Ryder Godsey, Austin McQueen and Randy Frye. Honorary Pallbearer Ira Darrell Becknell. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com Lakes Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
