Leon, Jr. is survived by brothers, Marvin Richard, Jr. and Alton Adams, both of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters, Marla Richards and Amber Adams, both of Pine Ridge, SD and Sarah Adams of Oglala, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leon, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Adams, Sr. and Lillian Bear Runner; sisters, Liberty Adams and Liane "Lamb" Adams; brothers, Colbert "Cubby" Richards, Sr., Marty Richards and Acorn Adams; and grandparents, Oscar "OB" Bear Runner and Grace (Rock) Bear Runner, Russell Adams and Sara Running Shield.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Adams, Travis Pulliam, Louis Pulliam, Curtis Quiver, Robert Quiver, Jr., Louis Sullivan, Marvin Richards III, Leon Adams, Leighton Shangreau, and Briley Adams.

Wake Services: One night wake services starting at 3:30 PM, Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge, SD
Officiating: Waylon Jealous of Him
Burial Services: Johnson Memorial Presbyterian Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD
