Leon Bednar Obituary
Leon was a High School graduate. He honorably served with the US Navy and Navy Reserve until 1971. He worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Company until his retirement after 42 years. He enjoyed building cars and refurbishing classic cars. He was a Life Member of VFW Post 6747, King City.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bednar; children, Stephanie Ahern, Jessica Bednar, Jennifer Gates (Chad Gates, James Cochran III, Kimberly Merritt (Ken Merritt); grandchildren, Kevin, Chase, Elijah and Angelique; sisters, Pam Ramos (Lou Ramos, Ann Naylor (Roger Naylor; brothers, Eddie Goings and Danny Weatherford. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Goings and Luther Bednar, and his sister, Mary.
At Leon's request, no services will be held. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Leon, the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society.
