Leon Buckner Obituary
Leon attended Prescott Public Schools and graduated from McRae High School in 1960 where he was Vice President of his class and in the Grammar Club. After earning his Associate Degree, Leon left Prescott Arkansas and moved to Cleveland Ohio in the early 1960's.
At age 27, Leon married the love of his life, Sandra Marion Cleveland on August 26, 1967. Leon and Sandra enjoyed 48 years of marriage together.
Leon worked at TRW for over 40 years when he retired in 2001. Leon enjoyed partying, watching Westerns and sports. Leon especially loved to debate about political matters. Everyone knew not to mention Obama, Trump or Lebron James or you would have a long-heated debate.
Leon departed this world on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by mother, Louella Bowie and his loving wife Sandra Marion Buckner.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories his children Darlene Cleveland and Donnell Cleveland; granddaughter, Lakisha Thornton (Shawntez) whom he helped raise; grandchildren, Teniel, Tenisha (deceased), Austin, Chaance, Alexander, Shayla, great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
