Janet Louise Buckner, 74, born on February 19, 1951, in Buncombe County, N.C., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25. 2026.
Janet was the daughter of the late Ralph Thomas Hopper and Audrey Suzzane Bryan Hooper. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband David Buckner who passed away in 2001, along with her brothers, Tommy Hopper and Mike Hopper.
Left to cherish Janet’s memory is her daughter Jamie Buckner, two sisters; Marie Foster and Debra Root (Jeremy), Brothers; Don Hopper and Ricky Hopper, and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.
No services will be held per Janets wishes. Inurnment will be had at Forest lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
