Leon Ewell Hickman ObituaryIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leon Hickman on December 9, 2024, at the age of 75.
Known as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Leon passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Leon was born on July 2nd, 1949, to Norma Anderson and Leon Hickman Sr., in Lincoln Nebraska.
Leon is a proud veteran of the United States Army serving 20 years as a cook, as his primary. After retiring he worked as a cook for the department of corrections for a couple years.
His hobbies were metal detecting, watching football as he was a huge cornhuskers fan, listening and singing to Elvis Presley, fishing, watching old western movies, and spending time with family. He liked to reminisce and share stories about his time in the Army and other stories involving his life growing up and love stories about him and his wife. He will always be remembered as a man who was devoted to his family and was always so strong willed to make it past any challenge he faced. He will be dearly missed.

He is also survived by his grandson-in-law, Logan Maslanik and his two granddaughters-in-law, Desiree and Lyndsie Hickman.
