Of Orchard Park, NY. Beloved husband of 57 years to Joyce A. (Palisano) Kantor. Dearest father of Michael (Laurel) Kantor, Jeffrey (Melinda) Kantor, and Stephen (Karen Fabbiano) Kantor. Devoted grandfather of Katelyn, Christopher, Jason, Leo, and Isabel Kantor. Son of the late Leo and Nellie (Kroll) Kantor. He is also survived by his beloved cats Poppy and Willow. Leon was a graduate of Hamilton College and University of Buffalo Dental School where he received his Doctorate degree. He served as a Captain in the US Air Force as a dentist. Leon practiced Dentistry in Hamburg, NY. He was a member of the Wanakah Country Club. Leon was a two-time NYS Junior Golfing Champion who also won numerous tournaments, and he was an avid bowler. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 18th, at 11 AM in St. Bernadette Church, 5930 S. Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY or you can join the Mass via livestream on St. Bernadette's website (www.saintbopny.org). Flowers graciously declined. If so desired, donations in Leon's memory may be made to the Tabby Town Animal Shelter, 3701 McKinley Parkway, Blasdell, NY 14219. Arrangements by the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Orchard Park, NY.
