Leon Martin Obituary
Mr. Leon Martin, affectionately known by family as "Jake" was born to parents Virgil Martin and Annie Bell York on August 19,1939, in Warren, AK. Leon relocated to San Francisco, CA as a youth and resided in Oakland, CA as an adult for over 50 years.
While proud of the work he did in the community, Leon never considered any achievement greater than being a proud and devoted father to his three children, Jeanette, David, and Monique; and incredible Grandfather to all 7 of his grandchildren!
A celebration of life for Mr. Leon Martin will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM at C. P. Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd, Oakland, CA 94621.
