Pawpaw, this is by far not easy. We all Love You so much. You were there for me in ways that no one ever has been. You believed in me, you supported me and you loved us unconditionally. Things will not be the same without you. One of the most pure hearts I´ve ever seen and I am so lucky to call you my pawpaw. I know that God is keeping you busy in heaven and you´re at peace with granny. I will talk to you through my prayers, until we meet again save me a spot in heaven, next to you and granny. I love you, Pawpaw. We all do.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Debbie & Slade, Leon Jr, and the Mathieu Family. I was saddened to learn of Leon's passing. He was a great neighbor and friend. He was like another dad to me before I got married and wanted to be sure that the man I was going to marry was the best husband for me!
I shall always remember the times we shared in the Crescent City Truck Parades. I was the last one on and stood right next to him and your mother. He was a character and loved the excitement of the day!
Know that Leon is no longer sick and he is enjoying his Heavenly home with his beloved wife, Joan! May God bring you comfort during these upcoming days, weeks, months. May He also give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. God bless you and keep you. All my love. So long, Leon...

Uncle Peter always made the time to come to all family events no matter how far or close. He took loving care of both my parents through sickness and guided us. He is appreciated and loved. I am blessed to have him as my Godfather.

He was a funny and great uncle to me whom I have always loved. We kept in touch for many years before his passing. Uncle Leon, I will keep my promise to you as the years go by. Don´t worry Debbie will be alright, my heart is with her always. I´m happy you no longer have to suffer in God´s Kingdom. Tell my Mom, and Dad I miss them terribly. Tell Auntie Joan hello and I´m glad you got to see her again at the gates of Heaven.

You will be missed Uncle Pete! While at Xavier, Uncle Pete always made sure my car was ok for me to drive cross country back to California at the end of the school year for 5 years! Changed my oil, changed my tires and always had a meal for me when I visited!
