Leon Sealy Obituary
Leon Sealy passed away January 5, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born April 26, 1941 to the late Eugene Gardner Sealy and Kathleen Twilley Sealy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby J. Sealy; brothers, Elbert (Luna) Sealy and Gerald (Brenda) Sealy; sisters, Willie Mae (Echols) Pritchett, Frances (Albert) Hubbard, Marian Dryden, Jeanette Tharp and Olga (Raythel) Denmark; brothers-in-law, Ricky Denny, Wayne Gaston.
He is survived by his daughters, Lanell (James) Vogler and Belinda (Ricky) Kuhn; son, Stephen Sealy (Trudy Brooks); grandchildren, Jayra (Mark) Smith, Wendi Roberts, Ricky (Nicki) Vogler, Abreanna Kuhn, Alex Kuhn and Jonathan (Nimalee) Kuhn; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Gaston, Vera Denny, Ralph (Dayle) Sealy and David (Toni) Sealy and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill Goodwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
