Mr. Simmons leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife, Ouida Simmons; five children, Shannon (Michael) Barnes, Reoche (Jerry) Barfield, Macey Simmons (Ted, Jr.) Williams, Javaughu (Avery) Thompson, Jerome (Kenya) Parks, Jr.; host of grandchildren; great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.
Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangement.

Lonnie was such a wonderful person. He was a proficient worker and multi-talented. We do not see the skill and commitment to excellence he showed on a regular basis. Beyond his skill was his kindness. I am praying for his family and that his soul rests in peace.
