Leon Christian Winter, 80, passed away on January 2, 2025 in Nephi, Utah.
He was born on December 17, 1944 in Levan, Utah to Lamar and Faye Winter.
He graduated from Juab High in 1962. After graduation he served an LDS Mission in the Western Central States.
Leon married Susan Garrett on March 29, 1969 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Leon worked for Juab County, Parkin Motor, and TDS Tires. He enjoyed photography and hunting. He was a member of Juab County Search and Rescue for several years.
Leon is survived by his wife, Susan, his children Steven (Angie) Winter, Monica (Colebee) Knudsen, Robert (Krisit) Winter, his 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Richard Winter and Carol (Dan) Midkiff, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Bosh, nephew Marty Bosh, and granddaughter Breanna Wall.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 10:30-11:45 am at the Anderson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at the Vine Bluff Cemetery.
