Leon Woody Obituary
Leon Woody, 85, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Leon was born to the late Dewey and Mattie Woody. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Martha Virginia Witherow Woody, son Leonard Woody, grandson Ricky Bruce and siblings L.C Woody, Wesley Woody, Sylvia Woody and Robert Woody and Lois Shirley.
He is survived by children Diane (Scott) Parker, Leroy (Jane) Woody, Susie (Donnie Burruss) Moore, Lonnie (Dawn) Woody; 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Woody officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Sunday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service
