Leona Cichocke, age 92, passed away on Tuesday August 26, 2025, in Clintonville. Leona was born on May 7, 1933, in Withee, Wisconsin to the late Theodore and Martha (Lubrandt) Markowski. On January 1, 1957, she was united in marriage to Edward Cichocke in Chicago, Illinois. In Leona's free time, she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and going to garage sales. Her really kind soul could put you at ease in a heartbeat. Leona could find the good in anyone, you could talk with her about anything, and she would give you great advice. She had a really kind soul; all who knew her loved her and had wonderful things to say about her. Leona always took care of everyone; she loved baking for people, and you never left hungry. You could catch her singing and drinking her popping hot coffee and laughing. Leona was a member of New Hope Church in Wausau and volunteered her time in the Woman of Faith.

Leona is survived by her children, Sherie Cichocke and Dale (Laura) Cichocke; grandchildren, Heather (Matt) France, Adam (Marisa) Casillas, Marcus Casillas, Aaron Cichocke, Sara Cichock, Gayle Bettenhausen, Misty Cichocke, Jennifer (Mike) Griffith and Amber (Charles) White; great-grandchildren, William, Laurel, Vincent, Grace, Faith, Hope, Mikey, Natalie, Trevor, Daniel, Susie, Kara and Johnathon; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Leona is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Ken Cichocke; grandson, Johnathon Cichocke; siblings, Edward, Ray and Claira; and parents, Theodore and Martha.

In accordance with Leona's wishes no services will be held.
