Famous Amos Farmer, Sr. age 52, of 223 Peavy Drive, Unadilla, died Thursday, March 26,2026, at Emory University Hospital-Midtown in Atlanta.
Amos was born in Vienna on October 2, 1973 and was self-employed as a mechanic. He loved racing, fishing and grilling . Amos loved his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Wife: Tracy D. Farmer of Unadilla
Daughter: Alexis Farmer of Unadilla
Sons:
Leonard Amos Farmer, Jr. of Unadilla
Christian Edmondson (Harley) of Cleveland, TN
Joe Farmer, Sr. (La'charnia) of Albany
Mother: Janice Farmer of Elko
Sister: Elizabeth Mendez of Byron
Grandchilren: Cheyann, Hazel, Joe, Jr. and Bentley
He is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog, Taco.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Farmer and his grandson, Kyle Farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 30 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends 12 - 2 PM Monday, March 30 at the funeral home.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
