Beloved husband of Judith (“Judy”) DeVries (nee Degen).
Loving father of David (Linda) DeVries, Steven (Maureen) DeVries and Caryn (Jeff) Kickert.
Doting grandfather (“Pops”) to Hailey (Chris) Mourer, Jessie Rose (Anthony) Eckert, Jason (Heather) DeVries, Nicole (Ben) Kreml, Adam (Emma) DeVries, Tara Kickert, and Liv (Van) Hagye.
Proud great grandfather and great great grandfather to many.
Len was a lover of Nascar and an avid baseball fan, specifically the Chicago White Sox. He spent many years supporting his kids in the role of little league coach, and he actively played in several softball leagues over the years.
His love of the ocean was evident in the annual family trips to North Carolina that began when his children were young and continued throughout his life.
Len will be missed by so many that loved him, but particularly by his wife and partner in life of 65 years, Judy.
Visitation, Tuesday, July 15th from 10 am until time of eulogy, 12 pm at Kerry Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 7020 W 127th Street, Palos Heights.
Being a veteran Army marksman, interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL at 2:30 pm.
