Leonard Dramesi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Egizi Funeral Home on Feb. 28, 2023.
Leonard J. Dramesi, III, age 60 of Hammonton, on February 26, 2023, passed away peacefully in his son's home after enduring pancreatic cancer. Leonard is survived by his son, Nicholas (Rochelle), grandson Luca, and mother, Assunta (née Cristelli). Leonard is also survived by cherished cousins who were siblings to him, sister-in-law Helen Flocco, brother-in-law Wayne Potok, Uncle Richard Dramesi (Sharon), and many loving nephews and nieces.
"Len" was born on July 18, 1962 in Woodbury to parents Assunta and Leonard J. II. He married the love of his life, the late Teresa R. (née Flocco), on September 7, 1985 and lived in Williamstown for many years. They welcomed their pride and joy "Nick" in November of 1987 and opened Dramesi Italian Deli & Catering in December. He was an active member of his community, serving on Monroe Township Council and winning Monroe Township Person of the Year 1995. Len later moved to Hammonton to enjoy his "Lazy D Ranch". He filled it with horses, goats, chickens, a steer named "Zeus", and a pony named "Oreo", much to his grandson's delight.
Len took pride in keeping family traditions alive and hosting larger-than-life celebrations for those he loved. He was deeply passionate about politics and involved with his local church. His proudest moment was meeting "my Luca".
Throughout his life, Len participated in the following organizations:
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Egizi funeral home, and Friday 10:00 – 11:15 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Anthony of Padua Church, 285 Rte. 206, Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
Arrangements are under the care of the Egizi Funeral Home, Washington Twp. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

I spent many nights at the campaign headquarters talking to Len about food and our love of family traditions. There was no more an important passion that Len held in his heart than the love and joy of being with great friends and family...sharing a homemade food and yes a bottle ...or two of homemade wine. I miss his love affection and yes that SMILE.

So sad to hear of Len´s sickness and passing. The interactions with him were always warm, authentic and left us with a smile. He was a genuinely kind and affable man.
We are blessed to have had our paths cross and leave fond memories of Lenny in its rightful place. Our prayers are with your family. God bless

We spent many Christmas eves together...he was always cooking up some great food to the very last minute. Loved Len and Theresa and will always remember these great times together.
