DELPHOS - Leonard J. Etzkorn, age 68, of Delphos, passed away on Friday evening, January 24, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's in Lima.
He was born on August 8, 1956, in Lima to Louis and Shirley (Andrews) Etzkorn. His father preceded him in death and his mother Shirley Hoehn survives in Delphos
Leonard is also survived by his siblings; Larry (Sherri) Etzkorn, Mark (Karen) Etzkorn both of Delphos, Nancy (Kevin) Dukes of Evansville, IN, Alan (Shandi) Etzkorn of Spencerville and Steve Etzkorn of Delphos. His nieces and nephews; his goddaughter Nicole (Kyle) Early, Ryan (Tine) Etzkorn, Murry (Megan)Etzkorn, Adam (Marcy) Grothouse, April Grothouse, Shelby Etzkorn, and Brandon Etzkorn.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother Louis (Norma)Etzkorn, stepfather Jerry Hoehn and his niece Amanda Etzkorn.
Leonard was a lifelong farmer. He had a 'unique' sense of humor. He was always up on all current events. Online poker was his passion. He was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and loved all kind of sports in general. He was a 'frequent and regular' visitor at the Topp Chalet.
A funeral service for Leonard will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos with burial to follow in the Landeck St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net.
