Leonard Fergerstrom Obituary

Leonard was employed for many years in the financial industry as an accountant. Mr. Fergerstrom was a graduate of Southwest Missouri University. He loved to play poker, swim and golf with his friends. Leonard was a very special and unique person who was a loving son, fiancé, step-brother, nephew and cousin who will be deeply missed by family and many friends.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Fergerstrom of Yorkville, IL; his fiancé, Jolie Frabotta of Chicago, IL; his step-brother, Jesse Fergerstrom of Hawaii; as well as his aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Leonard is proceeded in death by his father, Samuel Fergerstrom; also his grandparents.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 18, 2024 in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL, with Pastor Michael Neel, officiating.
Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL.

I met Lenny playing poker. Lenny was a very kind hearted man. He was a devoted son, and I admired him very much for that. His no filter style often had me laughing. He had a calm manner and was always in a good mood. I will miss him dearly.
