Leonard H. Henneman, 66 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born in Terre Haute on March 25, 1959 to Howard Henneman and Martha Rader Henneman.
Leonard worked in sales for Republic National Distributing Company. He loved working in his yard and enjoyed fishing and was an excellent woodworker who could build anything.
Leonard is survived by his wife Freda Syester, who was his best friend and partner in life for 38 years. He is also survived by his siblings; Thelma Leek (Dennis), Janice Leek (Don), Denise Jones (Craig), Alan Henneman (Tami), and Angela McCullough (Tim), as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother Chester Carter.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen with a Celebration of Life service to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
