Leonard Neal Logsdon, a talented painter for D. Simpson Handyman Services, bid farewell to this world on May 14, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends in Horn Lake, MS. He was born on January 23, 1966, in Memphis, TN, where his journey of love, laughter, and memories began.

Neal was known as an awesome and good man who spoke his mind with love and kindness. His love for life reflected in the moments he cherished - from fishing all night with his son to cheering on the Dallas Cowboys every game day. Neal found joy in the simple pleasures of life like going to car races every Saturday night and having quality time with his grandkids. His passion for baseball, football, NASCAR, dirt track races, bowling, and fishing rodeos added colors to his vibrant personality.

Among Neal's proudest accomplishments were raising two beautiful children, Brandon Logsdon (Taylor) and Ashley Stepp (Keith). He adored his five grandchildren - Amy Scruggs, Jordon Stepp, Haydon Logsdon, Dallas Logsdon, and Brooklyn Logsdon - showering them with unconditional love and care, and his beloved spouse Sherry McRae. Neal was a devoted son to Leonard and Carrie (Clifton) Logsdon and a loving brother to Annette Simpson and Connie Gross (Jerry). His stepfather Jerry Figueroy was a significant part of his life.

Family and friends will gather to honor Neal's memory at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven for visitation on May 18 at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place at Forest Hill Memorial Park South in Memphis at 12:30 PM.

Neal Logsdon's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege to know him. In the tapestry of life he painted with kindness and compassion, his spirit will continue to live on through the lives he touched.

Rest peacefully in eternal serenity, Leonard Neal Logsdon. Your light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those you left behind until we meet again in that great painting above.
