Beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather;

Leonard Martell Sr, 86, passed away at his home on Friday, February 13th, 2026, after a long battle with congestive heart failure.

He was born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts on November 11, 1939, the son of the late Henry H. Martell and the late Alma Rose (Huard) Martell.

Leonard graduated from Tewksbury High School, Class of 1957. He worked for BTU for many years before his retirement. After this time, Leonard moved to his home in Alexander, Maine where he enjoyed the lake and beautiful wooded surroundings. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his granddaughter Rose.

He is survived by his son Leonard Martell, Jr, and his wife Sandra, two daughters Lisa Adams, AND Robin Martell O'Neil and her husband William. His beautiful grandchildren: Rose Adams and her companion Michael LaCoote, Jr, Adam Gonzalez, Desiree Adams, Hunter Evans, Paige Wojuckiewiz, Dana Kinne, Jr, and Finian O'Neil, Quinn Martell, Ren Winchester, and Ronald H. Martell. He also had many great-grandchildren.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Alma, his brothers Henry Jr, Normand, Bruce and his sister, Arlene and his son, Ronald A. Martell and grandchild Kara Martell.

Those who knew Leonard will remember him for his sense of humor, intelligence, and warmth he had for those who matter the most to him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held on Friday February 20, 2026, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM at 1:30 P.M. Private Family Committal Services will be held in the spring. E-condolences/directions at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Funeral Director James F. O'Donnell, Jr. (603) 6365-3333.
