Leonard Cornelius Vandersterren, 54, of Mansfield, Arkansas, passed from this life on June 10, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1970, in America, Netherlands, to Antoon and Wilhelmina Vandersterren.

Leonard was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served tours in Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan, including his participation in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a son, partner, father, and grandfather who loved nature and spending time outdoors. He was also a skilled carpenter, a hobby he very much enjoyed.

Leonard is survived by his son Antoon Vandersterren, his daughter Mia Hogsett, his girlfriend Crystal Stubbs, his four grandchildren; Charly Etris, Rylea Etris, Valentina Vandersterren, and Esmeralda Vandersterren; his brothers, Erik Vandersterren, Wim Vandersterren, and Antoon Vandersterren, and his mother, Wilhelmina Vandersterren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Antoon Vandersterren.

No services are to be held at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral & Cremation – Waldron.
