Leonard C. White

Leonard C. White, age 91, of Lemont, Illinois, passed away on November 29, 2025.
Leonard was born on January 10, 1934. He enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and especially loved sharing that time with anyone willing to help. He valued family, togetherness, and the simple joys of life.
Leonard was the beloved husband of Pauline (Doyle) White, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. He was a loving father of Barb Murray, Patricia Mrotek, and Mark White. He was affectionately known to his grandchildren as "Guno."
He is survived by his wife, Pauline White; his children, Barb Murray, Patricia Mrotek, and Mark White; his grandchildren, Tim (Cindy) Mrotek, Angela Bosi, Amanda (Zac) DuBrun, Colleen (Eric) Cappelli, Lindsey (Steve) Harris, Kelly (Jake) Cyscon, Jake (Emily) Murray, Kaylee White; and nine great-grandchildren.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Verna White; his granddaughters, Caitlin and Karyn Mrotek; and his sons-in-law, Jim "Moose" Murray and Rich Mrotek.
Leonard was a Veteran of the United States Army.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, Franciscan Village, 1270 Village Drive, Lemont, Illinois.
Interment with Military honors will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Masses would be appreciated.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
