Leonardo Velez

Leonardo Velez, 87, formerly of Bethlehem died Thursday, September 17, 2026 at The Gardens of Easton where he was residing. Born in Puerto Rico, Leonardo came to the United States at an early age and settled in New York City. He eventually came to Bethlehem where he accepted a position at Structofab, Inc., where he was a lineman working on the steel bodies of United States Postal Jeeps. A child of the Lord, Leonardo worshiped his God in his home and vegetable garden. He was a faithful Pittsburg Steelers and Pirates fan.

Survivors: Step daughters, Carmen Gomez-Marrero and her husband Edwin, Sonia Morales and her husband Orlando; grandchildren, Gabriel, Ramon, Fransheska, Francisco and Philmarie; great grandchildren, Joel, Ezra, Michael, Kimberly and Luca.
