Born in Philadelphia, Nilda was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Carfagno) D'Abruzzo.
She found joy in playing bingo, reading, and golfing, and was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Nilda is survived by her daughter, Kathy Wayland (Ronald); her son, Thomas Cusack; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Maryellen Hare.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, David Cusack and Joseph Cusack, as well as her sisters, Gloria Folger and Evelyn D'Nicolo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 595 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
