Born on June 18, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, to Graciela and Samuel Murillo, Leonor brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life. She was a devoted sister, tia, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the heart of her world, and she found great pleasure in spending time with them.
As expressed in joining the Roosevelt High School Drill Team, and throughout her life, music and dancing were among her greatest joys. Among her favorite artists were the likes of: Prince, Teena Marie, Gloria Estefan, Anita Baker, and many others whose songs filled her home with rhythm and soul. Whether reading a good book or watching game shows with enthusiasm, Leonor embraced the simple pleasures of life with gratitude. She also loved to travel, explore new places and spend time with Herman; whether cooking at home, running errands together, or spending weekends at the racetrack.
A woman of deep faith, Leonor embraced Christianity and carried its values of kindness and compassion into every aspect of her life. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you-" the Golden Rule that she instilled in her children. She was known for her infectious smile and bubbly personality-traits that made everyone feel welcome in her presence. Her authenticity and passion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
At 61 years of age, she passed away on October 28, 2025, in Temple City, California. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Graciela Murillo, her brother Sammy Murillo, and her other half, Herman Bradley. She is lovingly remembered by her four children-Ruby, Edna, Herman, and Michael-and her cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Sophia. Her legacy lives on through the laughter she inspired, the love she gave freely, and the memories held dear by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
