Leonora Heisel Obituary
Age 86, of Scott Twp., formerly of the South Side, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Loving wife of the late Paul R. Heisel; dear mother of Sharon Yanosick (the late George), Cynthia Kelsch (Keith), and Heather O'Neill (Scott); cherished grandmother of Kyle (Emily), Clayton (Shannon), Angelee, Alexander, and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Aria and Ava; daughter of the late John and Angeline Pokora; sister of Virginia Pokora and the late Richard Pokora. She was also survived by her “bonus daughter", Autumn Hays.
“Lee”, a former hairdresser, was a very gifted crafter. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing, and doing stained glass work with her husband. Above all she loved raising and spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, 10 AM, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 330 3rd Ave, Carnegie, PA 15106. There will be no visitation and interment will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp., 412-563-2800. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends Pittsburgh, 562 Camp Horne Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, www.thinkingoutsidethecage.org.
