There will be no formal services. Leonore has been cremated under the direct care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to Senior Village Activities Fund or Three Oaks Hospice. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com
Leonore was born on September 3, 1931, the daughter of Walter and Flossie (Mershon) Hale. Leonore married Morley L. Fultz on September 10, 1949; he preceded her in death in 2010. Leonore worked as a night clerk for Motel 8 until she retired in 2008. Leonore was a Member of the Church of Nazarene, Atchison, Kansas and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, reading, bingo and raising kids.
Leonore is survived by her son Morley 'Chip' (Elaine) Fultz, Jr., Atchison, Kansas, grandchildren Larry Fultz, Gatesville, Texas, David Fultz, Topeka, Kansas, Joshua (Mandy), Savannah, Missouri and Tim (Kylie) Fultz, Effingham, Kansas five great-grandchildren, and sisters Pauline 'Polly' Hayes, Oregon, and Sandra Smith, Bend, Oregon. Leonore is preceded by her parents, husband, granddaughter Carrie Louise, brothers Samuel, David, Walter, and Stephen Hale and sister Carol 'Pat' Hicks.
