Leroy Beech Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Mar. 18, 2026.
Leroy Arthur Beech, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Hospice House surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on November 16, 1948, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Arthur Beech and Elizabeth (Humphreys) Beech.

Leroy worked at Salem Regional Medical Center for 43 years. He was a shipping and receiving clerk. He continues to be remembered and missed by those who worked with him. He was a positive and hardworking man, and his quick jokes will continue to live on in the memories of those he shared many hours with.

Outside of working, he thoroughly enjoyed golfing. He loved getting outside and spending hours on the course. Leroy also enjoyed swimming from a very young age, starting with his time on the swimming team. He was very active for most of his life and was always finding ways to spend time with his family. He also coached baseball for many seasons. The kids he coached always loved Coach Leroy, with his optimistic attitude and joking nature.

Leroy leaves behind his daughter, Heather Beech, son, Craig Beech, and a brother Raymond (Cindy) Beech. He will be deeply missed by his grandson, Steven Colian Jr., his previous wife of 38 years, Candy Beech, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Alice Louise Miller.

Leroy will continue to be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family will carry on his legacy of being a good-spirited, thoughtful, very witty, loving man.

Per Leroy's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
