LeRoy Bomgardner Obituary
Annville - Rev. LeRoy J. "Fritz" Bomgardner, Jr., 83, of Annville, passed away on Monday July 19, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Evelyn J. (Buck) Bomgardner, with whom he celebrated 63 years in marriage.
LeRoy was born on May 10, 1938 to the late LeRoy J. Bomgardner, Sr., and Martha (Newgard) Bomgardner. He was a retired dairy farmer, Lebanon Expo Center employee, and minister in the United Christian Church. He was a board member of A.R.E.A., Annville-Cleona Release Time Education Association.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Robin Heiselman of Hershey, Melody Good of Annville, Valerie and her husband William Lutz of Annville, grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Jordon, Noah, Tyler, Cyndi, Alex, Riley, 11 great grandchildren, and brothers, Ned, James, and Thomas Bomgardner. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Kern, brother, Clyde Bomgardner, and son-in-law, Michael Good.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11AM from Fontana United Christian Church, 22 Fontana Ave., Lebanon, PA. Interment will be in Broadview Cemetery. There will be a viewing held on Thursday July 22, 2021 from 6PM - 8PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street. There will be an additional viewing held on Friday at the church from 10AM - 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lebanon County Christian Ministries, 250 South 7th St. Lebanon, Pa 17042 or A.R.E.A, C/O Treasurer: Ed Heagy, 67 Racehorse Drive, Jonestown, PA 17038.
