Leroy Roger "Solo Jack" Flowers, II

WADESBORO -

Leroy Roger “Solo Jack” Flowers, II entered this world on December 30, 1994 and is a son of Sheila L. Flowers and Roger L. Flowers. He was called home on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Those who welcomed Leroy to his heavenly home were his grandfathers, Leroy Flowers and Larry Smith. He enjoyed fishing, cutting hair, traveling to the beach and spending time at the drag strip.

He will be remembered for his laughter, warm smile and his willingness to help others in the best way he knew possible. He was educated in the Anson County public schools and was employed with Pilgrim’s Pride in Marshville.

Those who are left to cherish his memories are his mother, Sheila L. Flowers of Peachland; his father, Roger L. Flowers of Hamlet; his sisters and brothers, Natalie A. Flowers of Salisbury, NC, Denzeill Flowers of Morven, NC. Kenneth Howard of Wadesboro, NC, Kimberly Stafford of Monroe, NC, Jessica Joines of Chesterfield, SC and Michael Joines of Chesterfield, SC; his nieces, Malayh Flowers of Greensboro, NC and Miarra Rivers of Cheraw, SC; his grandmothers, Queen E. Flowers of Morven, NC and Margaret Sharper of Morven, NC; 7 aunts, 3   uncles and a host of cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2024, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Church of God of Prophecy Church Cemetery in Morven.

Public viewing will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the funeral home.

The family is gathering at the home of his grandmother, 78 Old Field Lane in Morven, and at the residence 115 Short Town Rd. in Morven.
