Leroy Frye, 81 years, 4 months, and 10 days old, passed away on January 13, 2026, at Cedarhurst of Springfield, Missouri.
Leroy was born September 3, 1944 in Douglas County, Missouri to John Ross and Thelma Letha (Johnson) Frye.
Leroy was an Army Veteran and served in Germany. After his military service, Leroy worked for EJ&E Railroad and retired after working 30 years in 2005.
He enjoyed gardening, raising chicken and ducks, fruit trees, and his dog.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Paul Frye and Shirley Clark.
Leroy is survived by his siblings; John Frye and Dale and Polly Frye; many nieces and nephews and other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Graveside services for Leroy will be Monday, January 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Fannon Cemetery with burial to follow.
