LeRoy E. Hill

LeRoy Hill, 78, of Oskaloosa, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Mahaska Health Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa.
LeRoy Eugene Hill, son of Marvin L. and Leva E. (Lettington) Hill was born on April 11,1945 in Los Angeles, CA. LeRoy grew up in Indianola, and attended Indianola High School. After his education, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1962. LeRoy served in the Navy until 1966 when he was discharged, but continued to serve his country as a government contractor, while living in San Diego, CA. While in California, LeRoy met Jane Terry and the two were married and blessed with the birth of their daughter Jennifer. In 2007, LeRoy retired from working with the United States government and moved to Oskaloosa, in 2008. LeRoy was blessed to be able to spend time golfing with friends and truly loved spending time with his family.
LeRoy's family includes his daughter Jennifer Kirk of Lake Tahoe, CA, two grandsons; Charles and Mathew Jones of Oskaloosa and a great grandson, Ryken Jones.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jane in 2019.
As was his wish, LeRoy's body has been cremated and his ashes will be scattered at sea, where he will be reunited with his wife Jane.
