LeRoy Roger Iczkowski, 75, Knowlton, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at his home.
LeRoy was born on March 5, 1950, to Walter and Helen (Napiwocki) Iczkowski. He grew up in the town of Knowlton and graduated from Mosinee High School in 1968. He married Diane Rucinski on October 3, 1970, they celebrated 55 years of marriage before her passing on October 10, 2025.
LeRoy found joy in life’s simple pleasures – spending quiet mornings hunting or fishing, tending to his garden, and listening to the familiar, comforting sounds of polka music. He had a special fondness for animals, particularly his beloved chickens and ducks. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and made it a priority to attend every sporting event and school play, proudly supporting them in all they did.
LeRoy is survived by his children Kevin (Heather) and Jeff (Sam), his grandchildren Darin, Logan, Addison, and Kevin, and great grandchild, August. He has 6 siblings: Sylvester, Mary Jane, Esther, Grace, Virginia and Karen. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Helen, as well as his wife of 55 years, Diane.
In lieu of flowers, donations in LeRoy’s name can be directed to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 2, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m., until 10:30 a.m., all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
