Leroy “Lee” Lashley Obituary
Leroy “Lee” Lashley, 87, of Cumming, GA passed away November 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Mr. Lashley was a man of God and was a member of the First UMC of Cumming. Lee was the family patriarch and mentor. His career was spent as owner/operator of a small chain of Tire and Automotive Centers in Metro Atlanta for 30 years. Following retirement Lee earned a real estate broker license and worked as a commercial real estate broker. He was an avid lifelong fan of the Atlanta Braves and Auburn University sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Minnie Lashley. He was survived by his wife Delores "Dee" Tate Lashley and his children, Greg Lashley and Michele Lashley LeBrun (Joe), and stepchildren Kim McGahee, Mark McGahee and Sean McGahee (Alena), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 9, 2023, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Willner officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave., Cumming, GA 30040.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation, 10810 East 45th Street, Suite 300, Tulsa, OK, 74146. American Kidney Foundation.
