Leroy Stringfield Obituary
Leroy Stringfield a loving father, husband, and grandfather passed away yesterday August 25, 2025 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy Stringfield Knight; grandparents Roy and Bertha Stringfield.
Veteran, 79 years old leaves behind a wife of 7 years, Tommie Stringfield; two daughters Diana Thomas, Marianna Cain and three beautiful grandchildren Bella, Spencer, and Elena or Laney Bug, as well as a host of sisters, brothers and friends.
He fought the good fight of kidney failure for over 7 years. He will be missed by all his family and all of his friends. Everybody will remember this kind, gentle soul who is a little speedster on his motor wheelchair. He was one to always make you laugh no matter how hard your day had been. He might have given you a hard time himself during his final days, but he always made sure that you knew everyone was loved no matter how stubborn he may have considered himself. You may not have been my biological father, but you accepted me as if I was your own. I will forever and always love you and miss you dearly. You can now rest in peace.
The family has chosen cremation and no services are scheduled.
