Leroy Vickroy

Leroy Emerson Vickroy, 85, of Logan, formerly of Bremen, died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 20, 2025. He was born March 3, 1939 in Perry County, Ohio the son of Charles and Ida (Holcomb) Vickroy. He was a graduate of New Straitsville High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Superior Fibers, Bremen, where he worked for 53 years.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Judy (Rice) Vickroy, whom he married May 17, 2023, and her son, Greg Addington; sons, Chuck and Alan (Laura) Vickroy; daughters, Lee Ann (Chris) Council and Janette (Zack) Vickroy; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Dolly) Vickroy; sister, Clara (Charles) Angle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Linda (Bacus) Vickroy in 1985; second wife, Joan (Dodson) Vickroy in 2014; son, Jerry Lee Vickroy on Dec. 14, 2022; and many brothers and sisters.

A time to visit with Leroy's family will be Monday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
