Lesley Ann Rider

Williamsburg-Lesley Ann Rider was born March 29, 1978, in Sheldon, Iowa, the daughter of Jeffrey Rider and Deborah (Graham) Stock.  She graduated from Lone Tree High School.  Lesley has worked at a Veterinarian Clinic in Iowa City and Brother Market in Williamsburg.  She enjoyed all animals, nature and especially her children, they were her pride and joy.  She loved going to their school events and sports activities. Lesley always had a smile on her face. Lesley died on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at her home in Williamsburg at the age of 45 years.

She is survived by her children, Billy Grout, Josey Grout and Carly Grout all of Williamsburg; her parents, Jeff Rider of Williamsburg and Deborah Stock of Lone Tree; two brothers, Jerome Rider of Missouri and Johnny Rider of Lone Tree; a mother-in-law Trudy Grout and the father of the children Bryan Grout.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 15. 2023, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.  Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home.  A memorial fund has been established to assist with funeral expenses please see the link below to donate.
