Lesley Wallace Obituary

Lesley Jane Wallace (Ayer), 74, of Franklin, NH passed away peacefully at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, NH on Thursday, February 5, 2026, after a short illness.

Born on June 22, 1951, in Manchester, NH, Lesley was the middle of three children to Richard and Lillian (Orlop) Ayer. Lesley grew up in Hooksett, NH and graduated from Manchester Central High School, Class of 1969. Lesley worked for over 25 years at the Telephone Company through it's iterations of New England Bell, Nynex and Verizon until her retirement in 1994, when she became a stay at home mom for her son. She worked as a teacher's aide at Paul Smith School, until her retirement in 2020.

Lesley enjoyed spending time with family, playing card games on her computer and going out with coworkers who had retired also. She enjoyed the time retirement gave her to relax and enjoy things.

Lesley is survived by her husband, David of Franklin, NH; son, David and his husband, Steven Marshall of Bradford, VT and her brother, Richard (Karen) Ayer, as well as brother and sisters in laws and beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Lillian Ayer.
