On June 25th, 2025, Leslie Ann Blythe passed away after a long battle with cancer. Leslie Ann Walker was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Thomas and Constance Walker on October 12, 1955. Leslie grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from High school there. During her childhood, Leslie spent her summers at the beach, where she always loved the ocean and the beach.
Leslie drove a school bus for over thirty years in Rhode Island, Texas, and Colorado, eventually retiring from the Durango School District 9-R in 2023. Leslie had a profound impact on the lives of countless students during her driving career and had a special affinity for students with special needs.
Leslie was married to Daniel Blythe in May of 2018, and they were married for seven years.
Leslie is survived by her four children, David Aldrich, Jason Aldrich, Cassie Carter, Alyssa Barone, her husband Daniel Blythe, and seven grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Leslie for family and friends on July 3, 2025 at her home. The celebration will begin at 4pm. Dinner will be provided at 6pm.
Leslie wants to be cremated. So, her ashes will be interred at Greenmount Cemetery.
