Leslie Gunn Cook, age 70, of Butler Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Born June 2, 1955, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles Alvin Gunn and Florence Mae (Connors) Gunn.
Leslie was an avid gardener and a yearly Blue Ribbon winner at the Butler Farm Show. In her free time, she also enjoyed hiking and cooking. Every Steeler Sunday, you can find her and her beloved dogs Marley, Otis, Annie and Riley watching the game as she is the self-proclaimed #1 Steeler fan. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially during the Connors summertime family reunions. She held many titles in life, but Mimi was the one she treasured most, finding her deepest happiness in her two grandsons Kelly and Shane, the lights of her life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories of her daughters, Shannon Cook (Josh Lantzy) and Katie Mullin (Ian); her two grandsons, Kelly and Shane; her companion, Norm Wirth; her sister, Sue Gunn LaCava (Paul); her nieces, Julie Hudak and Kristi McGinty (Sean); her great-niece, Alexa Hudak; and numerous close first cousins, who Leslie considered brothers and sisters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Norbert Hudak.
A friends and family gathering will be held from 9 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at All Saints Parish - St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Rd., Butler, PA 16001.
